Immature Soap Opera Reaction

  • Apr. 10th, 2008 at 8:14 PM

[Thanks to Kelly for the title ;) ]

Everyone reading this entry will be in for a good laugh. :D

So, I got an email from my mother on Monday. Although, I only read it Tuesday because I was at Stefan's house on Monday and didn't get a chance to check my email. The subject of the email was 'Wake Up'. I knew I was in for a good read instantly. XD So, the email was rather long but very enjoyable to read. It started off with how disrespectful she thinks I've been to adults and such. She goes on to talk about Stefan and our situation and how fast she thought I went into the relationship and all. And how I'm being stupid and irresponsible about certain things.

Before I continue with the next part of the email, I have to explain what happened last week. So, I was on Facebook and I discovered that my mom had gotten Facebook. O_O Woah. Anyways, like the next day or something, my dad told me he had been talking to my mom. And he told me she had logged onto Jo Ann's account (she's one of my friends on Facebook) and looked at the pictures from the toga party I went to a couple of weeks ago. And apparantly, I look drunk in the pictures. O_O Ya, I don't drink. And I wouldn't have that night anyways because I had a headache, and most probably a fever. Then I took drugs for it and that wouldn't have gone well with alcohol. Anyways, so, I was a little upset that my mom went on to someone's account just to see pictures of me. Oh, and she made a comment that Stefan looked like a girl. Which pissed both me and Stefan off. Gah. So, I go on Facebook and take off Doug and Jo Ann. So, like last Thursday or Friday or something, I get a call from my mom. Facebook came up and I told her I knew what she did. And then I informed her that I removed Doug and Jo Ann. She got upset at me that I wasn't going to add her on Facebook. She hung up pissed. Lol.

So, the last part in the email she sent me was about Facebook. She told me that I had until Tuesday night to re-add Doug or I would experience serious consequences. Um, ok. So, I would get in trouble for not re-adding him to Facebook? In my reply to her, I told her it was my Facebook, not hers or Doug's and that I would choose who were my friends on it. And none of them were going to be my friends. I also talked about the fact that I was not drunk at the toga party. And I told her why I don't drink. Because of Doug and her. That they are both alcoholics, whether they admit it or not, and that I don't want to turn into them. I thanked her for setting me that example.

I also mentioned in my reply that just because my mom and Doug are adults, doesn't mean that they deserve respect. just because you're older than someone, doesn't mean you deserve more respect than someone else. Age doesn't matter.

Oh, and at the end of her email, she mentioned that I shouldn't piss anyonre off, especially those that took me in (aka Doug). And that I should be more respectful towards him for all he's done for me. Okay, yes, thank you for taking me in but no one should EXPECT anything in return for doing something. You should do something because you want to, not because you expect something good in return. That's just wrong thinking. And my mom also mentioned how easy of a life I had living with Doug and all. And I replied basically with a no way in hell was it easy. I had to put up with both Doug and my mom arguing and swearing at each other for hours each night, even though I had to wake up early for school the next day. Ya, easy? No.

So, since Tuesday, I was waiting to get a reply in my email from my mother. Nothing. And when I got back from school today, I found out that she had been trying to call our house. So, sometime in the afternoon, my dad talked to her. When he finished, after like 30 minutes, I went to talk to him to see what she said. Get ready for the best part of this entry. Make sure you're not drinking anything because you might spit it out from laughter. :D

So, basically, I'm like dad, what did she say? He replied that I can get my work shirt and throw it out. Because I was fired. O_O I then asked my dad if my mom had mentioned why my mom got me fired. My dad said that she had nothing to do with me getting fired. That it was Doug that got me fired because I didn't re-add him on Facebook. Ok, so, get this. Because I didn't add Doug, a 40+ year old man who's my boss, I got fired from my job. Ya. Try to understand that. Who the hell does that? Lol. I couldn't stop laughing when I found out. How immature do you have to be to do that? Lmao. It's a freakin' social networking site and because I didn't want to have him as my friends, I was fired. Wow, just wow. That's stooping down to some stupid level, isn't it? I'm still in shock what happened and this happened like 4 hours ago. Oh, and there's more. My dad also told me that he was told that I was not allowed to go to Florida. Lmao. Um, that's 100% fine with me because I had enough bullshit to go through last time I went at Christmas. There was no way I was going back again. Lol. Wow, such immaturity! Lmao. Omg, I can't stop laughing. And I've been smiling like all evening since I found out. ^_^

After I finished talking with my dad, I went back up to my room and told Stefan everything that he said. He had a great laugh along with me and totally agreed that Doug was a huge baby. XD And then after supper, I told Kelly about it and I believe I put a smile on her face as well. And wait till I tell people at the lockers next week. I'm sure everyone will have a good laugh. I've already had two people comment to me on Facebook about it since I've changed my status update to the following: Lindsay got fired from her job because she didn't add her boss on Facebook O_O and is laughing along with Kelly.

Wow, I haven't felt this good in a long time. Well, besides when I'm with Stefan. *heart*

*Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! XD

Anyways, so, yesterday, I wake up at 5:40, like usual. I check class cancellations, and, omg, my first class, western civ is cancelled! Yay! So, I decided that I would need to get up at 9:30 to get the 10:21 train that would get me to school on time for my 11:30 class. That meant, an extra 3 hours of sleep! Only problem was, it took me almost an hour to fall back asleep. And when I finally did, I had nightmares that I had arrived late to class cause I missed the train/bus. In reality though, I didn’t miss anything and got to class on time.

After the movie was finished in my anthro class, I headed to my locker to drop off my books and took a bus to the B-d-B train station. While I waited 20 minutes for the train, I read Naruto. My fingers were freezing by the time the train arrived.

Also, last night, I decided that I wanted to try something out this morning. Usually, I wake up at 5:40 and take the 6:39 train even when I have 8:30 classes. Today, I wanted to see if I would have time to get to my class if I took the 7:24 train which would give me almost an hour extra of sleep. So, that’s what I did this morning. Although, at 5:40, my iPod alarm went off since I forgot to change it. I jumped out of bed and finally realized what was making that sound. It took me about 20 minutes to fall back asleep. Anywho, the 17 bus was PACKED this morning. One guy even had to stand up. The 17 bus at 6:20 is like empty. I even had to stand in the train this morning because it was so packed. Whatever, I got to school on time and got an extra hour of sleep. All is good. I think that’s what I’ll do on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when I have 8:30 classes. On Mondays and Thursdays, I’ll wake up at the usual 5:40 since those classes start at 8.

I had economics first. Fun, fun. NOT. As soon as class ended, I headed back to N and dropped off my books. Before meeting up with Kelly in K, I went to the bathroom. Well, for the past three or four days, I haven’t been feeling well and I didn’t know why. Now I know why. I had a nice little surprise waiting for me in the bathroom, if you know what I mean. ;)

My goodness, a lot of Kelly’s friends by the K lockers had dressed up and this one guy, Nathan.. well.. his costume was freakin’ hilarious. At about 10:25, Kelly and I headed off to her class. On the way, we picked up candy and these pumpkin stress balls:

Anywho, as we’re on our way to the class, we pass Alli who is in Kelly’s class walking in the opposite direction. Kelly asks her where she’s going and she tells us that class was cancelled. Kelly asked why and Alli said that the teacher needed to go to the hospital. O_O What? Kelly and I head up to the class and the teacher is standing in the doorway of the classroom. I just want to mention, he’s also my teacher for anthro so I was concerned. As Kelly gave him an assignment that was due today, she asked him what was wrong. Apparently, he lost sight in one eye and he doesn’t know what’s happening. I’d be so scared if I suddenly couldn’t see in one eye.

So, Kelly and I waited for Sandra to arrive and then we just hung out in the empty classroom. We talked and played hangman. Around 12, Kelly and I headed down to the caf. I bought spaghetti and garlic bread and Kelly just bought garlic bread. Before buying lunch, we found Steph and told her where we were eating lunch. Then, on the way back to the classroom, we bumped into Jes and she joined us on the way up. We continued to play hangman till the end of break.

My last class was pretty easy. We just handed in our homework at the beginning. Then, the teacher made us do a quick assignment after that. She gave us all papers and asked us to answer a question that she wrote on the board: how are you doing so far? She told us it didn’t necessarily mean how we’re doing in the class, or even in school, but could be in life in general. Wow, no teacher has every asked me that question before. Makes you think.

As soon as class was over, I headed straight outside to the bus stop. When I got out my iPod, it wouldn’t turn on!! O_O I tried resetting it but that didn’t work. I was a little pissed off. Whatever. I took the metro and two buses home. On the 9 bus, I began reading Naruto 13 and could not stop reading. I ended up finishing the whole manga about 5 minutes into the 22 bus ride. Yup, yup.

I beat my dad home. :D As soon as I got home, I tried opening this container with drugs that I could take. But, Lindsay couldn’t open them! I remember sometime last year when I had my period that one night I woke up and tried opening it up. I couldn’t so I had to get my mom to open it and it even took her awhile. Ya, so, today, I tried opening it for about 10 minutes and couldn’t. Grr…

Ya, I gave up. Damn it. So, my dad got home about 30 minutes later. I instantly gave him the container to open. He did it with one try. O_O My dad’s amazing. I asked him if he had another contained I could use and he did. Thank goodness. Anywho, I told him that Doug was going to be around at Nick and Laura’s house till 7 for us to bring the movies back. So, my dad and I left and headed, through the traffic, to their house.

When we got there, Doug wasn’t actually there! So, we chatted with Laura and Nick and everyone else that was there. About 15 minutes later, Doug arrived. He brought along with him, about 10 bags full of candy. O_O Woah. So, my dad and I ended up chatting with Doug for almost two hours while Laura, Nick, Shawn, cute little Steph, and a bunch of other people went out trick-or-treating. Lol, sometime during the night, a firetruck was passing by and I got this cool picture (in my opinion):

You know what else? I ended up getting candy from Doug.. and I wasn’t even dressed up for Halloween. Although, if anybody asks, I was dressed as a muggle. XD Oh yay, that’s right, a muggle! XD

~Lindsay

P.S. NaNoWriMo has officially started! I write this on November 1st, 12:13am. :D I shall start writing tomorrow on the train ride. Can't wait!

P.P.S. Drive safely tomorrow Doug! I shall see you again in less than two months! XD

Two-day post and Doug!

  • Oct. 26th, 2007 at 11:22 PM
Hehe, another multiple post day. So, let’s start off with Thursday. Hmm… I’m sure it was cold as usual. Brrr… Had English first thing yesterday. Boring as usual. We started by doing grammar. It was sooooo easy. We were doing run-on sentences and examples from the book. I just don’t understand why other people can’t grasp the idea of run-on sentences and how to fix them. The examples were uber-easy since you could fix them all the same way by putting a period or a semi-colon. Sometimes, in that class, I honestly feel like I’m with a bunch of dim-wits. I mean, it’s college English for pete’s sake! Gah!

Anyways, class finally ended. My geo class was “cancelled” in that we had to go watch the presentation in the auditorium about climate change (which is the topic we’re talking about now in geo). I only had to go down 2 floors to the auditorium. As I entered the area, I heard Sandra calling my name. Jessica was there as well. We started talking and then these two people, one of which Sandra knew, so we started talking to them for awhile. Soon after, Jessica and the two other people left for their classes. Sandra and I then got closer to the doors while we waited for Kelly. Finally, Kelly showed up. She had class in N so she’s usually always late to geo class.

We all then walked inside and found seats. So, for the next hour and a half, I took notes about climate change (or as the presentation was called: Friday’s Footprints and the Triple Planets of Doom). What a title, eh? As soon as the presentation ended, I had to quickly head to N for my last class, French.

Hmm… oh yes, French! Gah! My teacher took the whole class explaining about an oral we would have to do in about three weeks! I don’t wanna do an oral!! I haven’t done one in like three years! And I absolutely hated, hated, hated, doing French orals and I thought I had finally finished with those. But no!!! *cries* And, and! We’re not allowed any notecards or anything. Just a plan (or outline) of the oral which we have to hand in to the teacher. *cries more* I don’t wanna! I don’t wanna!

Anyways, as soon as French ended, I dropped my books off and quickly headed to the bus stop. As we were heading towards the train station, I saw the train leaving. I knew I wouldn’t make it. So, instead, I took the metro and two buses home like usual.

Hmm… I don’t think anything too exciting happened that evening.. Oh! After I ate lunch, around 3, I decided to take a nap cause I was tired. I told myself I would only take a 20 minute nap. Ya right! Turned out to be close to 4 hours! Hehehehe. I got up around 7, right in time for my tv show! Lol.

Friday, today, I got to sleep in! XD I ended up only getting something like 2 extra hours of sleep, but it’s still two hours! I got up at 7:25 and left by 7:55. The 17 bus was supposed to arrive at 8:12 and the train passes at 8:25. Within a minute of getting to the bus stop, the 22 bus arrived! Instead of waiting in the cold for another 10 minutes, I took the 22. I knew it would stop at the train station, so why not? I did of course have to wait at the station for like 20 minutes but oh well.

I had 30 minutes before my first class, economics. Once again, the class was boring. We talked more about GDP. She also gave examples in which we had to calculate nominal and real GDP, the GDP deflator, inflation, and growth. Uber-easy pour moi. That’s all we did all class. We just worked on examples. Fun, fun.

After class, I dropped off my economics book and headed to anthro class. The teacher handed back our mid-terms from last Friday. This girl I sit beside and talk to asked me what he was handing out. I told her it was the mid-terms. Turns out, she had skipped last class and it had totally slipped her mind about the mid-term! Oops. Anyways, I got 27/30 which is exactly 90%. Yay! I’m happy! I think that’s my best mid-term so far!

As soon as class ended, I headed directly to the bus stop. When we were getting close to the train station, I couldn’t see whether the train had passed or not. The train leaves at 1:07 and we got there around 1:09 so I didn’t even bother trying. Like yesterday, I took the metro and two buses. I ate lunch as soon as I got home.

So, around 3:30 or something, my dad left for Canadian Tire. I’m checking my email and such when I suddenly hear the doorbell. At first, I was like, who the heck can that be? But then I thought it was Doug, although I thought he was gonna call before showing up! And it was Doug with a big care package for Lindsay. Plus, he gave me his birthday present.. a new digital camera!! And it’s soooo small! Compared to my old one which is huuuge! Plus, he also got me a 4GB memory card. O_O That’s right, 4GB. *dies* My memory card for my last camera was 256MB. Wow, it seems so small compared to 4GB!

Doug and I talked while I rummaged through everything in the box: magazines, Pop-Tarts (a flavor that can only be found in the States!), movies I had requested (which I have to finish by Wednesday)… oh! And my mom had got me this really pretty Pirates mug. Although, I don’t think I’ll ever use it cause it’s so big and ornately decorated. Ya. About 20 minutes later, my dad got back home. Talked some more.. especially on one specific topic.. *cough* A bit after 5, Doug left.

My dad and I then went out to Belle Province and we had hot dogs and fries. Yummy! When I got home, I finished checking my email. Before I headed downstairs to watch my three tv shows tonight, I popped in a movie (The Covenant) into my DVD drive. I wanted to copy it to my iPod and since it takes about three hours to do in total, I thought, why not do it while I’m away watching tv? I’m so smart sometimes! XD

This weekend, my dad and I are going to have to watch: Night at the Museum, Date Movie, 1408, and Perfect Stranger. Plus, I got an extra copy of Carrie. Doug already had the movie and so did my mom and then Doug went and got that movie so I got to keep it! Although, I highly doubt I’ll watch the movie. Seems scary…

I think that’s all for now! Have a great weekend everyone!

P.S. Less than a week till NaNo, eek!!

October!!

  • Oct. 1st, 2007 at 10:45 PM
October already! Where'd September go? It seemed to just fly by! Woosh! Ya. Anywho, so, it's a Monday. Ugh. Means it's my longest day of the week. Double ugh. I don't like Mondays.

So, this morning, it was pretty dark except for the moon which was still out and very bright. Ya. I was hoping to catch the same bus as Kelly this morning (we both have classes starting at 8 on Mondays and Thursdays). So, I get on the second bus that gets to B-d-B but she wasn't on it! When I got to school, I sat by my locker and continued to read Naruto (third book, the second one that Kelly got me). As I'm reading, all of a sudden, Kelly appears! Turns out, she was on the third bus that got to B-d-B! Oh well! She said it was packed and I would have been standing at the front. Oh well! We still had like 15 minutes together this morning before classes! I told her about my weekend and how I got new iPod speakers and Family Guy. Cool, cool.

English class was boring. We learned about fragments and such. Lindsay already knew this so it was boring. Then we talked about Sir Gawain. Much fun. *yawn*

Break! Met up with Laura in the library. It was very quiet, lol. And I saw Laura's pretty Macbook! So pretty! I wish I had a Macbook! They look so light and cool! And that's saying something since I don't like Macs that much... hehehhehe. Anywho, Laura's boyfriend joined us for break and we listened to music.

I left like 15 minutes before class to go to N to get my books. When I got to geo class, Kelly and Sandra were already there. XD Me and Kelly had a great time filling out our agendas with randomness as the teacher talked about the Kyoto Protocol. We also started our "student conferences". Basically, we divided into groups and each group received an article from the teacher about an aspect of the Kyoto Protocol, climate change, and global warming. Kelly and I formed a group and got this easy article. It was basically just the definitions of global warming and the greenhouse effect. Easy! Then, in a couple of classes, we're supposed to teach in front of the class what our article was about. Fun!

When class ended, Kelly and I headed down to the caf to buy our lunches. Pizza for Lindsay! We then went to our usual B stairwell to eat lunch. Sandra was already there, saving a place for us. A couple of minutes later, Alex (Kelly's boyfriend) showed up. We had lots of fun. Oh, Sandra gave us this number. If you're ever out and a guy (or girl) asks for your number and you don't want to give out your real one, use this one: 514-667-0361. Seriously, call it and listen to the message. It's about a minute long. HILARIOUS. Swear to god, I wanna use it on someone one day. I've already got the number memorized. XD

My last class of the day, we had a short quiz at the beginning of class on our reading. We then started watching a movie, Monsoon Wedding. As soon as class ended, I ran to N, dropped off my books and very quickly headed to the bus stop. When the first 171 bus came, it was uber packed. So packed I couldn't even get on. So, I waited for the next one. At that point, I knew there would be no way for me to catch the 4:07 train. There was one coming at 4:42 too though. But yesterday, I had decided that if I missed the 4:07 train, I would take the bus to Henri-Bourassa and take the metro to De La Concorde. The train passes through there 6 minutes after B-d-B so it would arrive at 4:48. I just didn't feel like sitting around at B-d-B.

Hmm.... I think that's all that happened today. Lindsay is off to bed now cause she's exhausted! Zzzzz....

~Lindsay

P.S. Doug: don't forget to send me the pics of your trip to Orlando from this weekend! I always enjoy them! :D And I spell checked this entry, just for you. :P And btw, there were no spelling errors, so, :P again.

No French.. and no shrimp...

  • Sep. 25th, 2007 at 11:31 PM
Well, when I got to school today, I checked the class cancellations again to see if any of my classes had been cancelled since I checked at 5:30. And sure enough, my French class was cancelled! Yay! Anywho, I had like an hour before my first class so I worked on my anthro homework. I also worked on it that morning on the train ride. Anywho, before my first class started, I texted Kelly to see when she had break. I usually don't see Kelly at all on Tuesdays but since my class was cancelled... So, I had break then from 10-1 and Kelly had class from 10-12. So, I was going to be able to spend an hour with her! Cool!

After my first class, I dropped off my books and went to the library. For more than an hour, I did my anthro homework. I got a lot done! Yay! A bit after 11, I headed off to Subway to buy my lunch. I ate there. As I was eating, a guy that worked there, passed out pieces of a cookie to every one in the restaurant. Yay! A free cookie! XD

I got back to school just as Kelly was walking out of her classroom. Kelly had to buy her lunch so I tagged along to the caf. We then went back to the B stairwell where Sandra and Jessica were already waiting. Andrea then came along. Around 12:30, we decided to go outside. As we were sitting on the ground, this squirrel came real close to us. Kelyl started feeding it Rice Krispies which it seemed to enjoy greatly! Then, Lindsay had to leave cause I had class at 1. Kelly still had break till 2. I hugged her goodbye and off I went to anthro.

Oh, Doug, I just got all those pics you sent to my email. Um, I just wanna say this: I no longer love you. That video you sent.. was 7 minutes in hell. I was basically weeping at the end, thanks, thanks a lot. When you come to Canada in October, you had better bring me some shrimp from Fujiyama's or I swear, I will no longer talk to you. It's been more than 4 months without shrimp!!!

Chocolate!!

  • Sep. 16th, 2007 at 10:42 PM

Doug: I got your pics and video. Um, thanks a lot for tantalising me in the video. My mouth was watering with the chocolate. Ya. And do take pics when you go to Disney! Shouldn't you be coming up to Canada soon? You usually go around the end of September/early October. And I would like to stress to you that Shawn and I are just locker friends, c'est tout. I do NOT like him anymore than a friend. Got it? Good. Yes, I heard my mom was cooking. She called me this afternoon and she told me. She also told me she doesn't know where my remote controller for my DVR is. She says she hasn't seen it since I moved but I think she lost it. Have you seen it?? Do I even want to know what's going on with Justin? First cigarettes and now beer? Hmmm.....

Didn't do much today. When my dad got home from work, we went out and did groceries. Guess what Lindsay got? Apples. Yes, Doug, you read that right, apples. I believe apples is a fruit! O_O Since I've been sooo tired in class these past weeks, I decided to buy some apples. If you didn't know, it's proven that apples do a better job at waking you up than coffee does. So, Lindsay will bring an apple to school tomorrow and eat it in the morning sometime. Yup yup.

Off to watch the rest of Alexander. I watched most of the movie last night but I got too tired. I think I have like an hour left or so. Then, off to bed Lindsay goes. *sigh* I have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. *another sigh*

Public transport... fun!

  • Sep. 7th, 2007 at 10:16 PM
When I checked class cancellations this morning, I discovered my second class, economics, was cancelled! If only it was my first class so I could have slept in longer. Had almost an hour to "waste" when I got to school so I read in my geo homework cause it was homework. Finished that. One less thing to worry about now! XD My first class was western civ and we talked about Egypt the whole class. Man, I could barely stay awake in that class today. Not because it was boring (I love history!) but I was just sooo tired! Anywho, after class was over, I had an hour and a half to waste. So, I decided to start work on my anthro reading report due next week. (Omg, what's happening to Lindsay? She's not procrastinating! O_O ) So, I put some music on and when I got to the lockers, I read the first chapter in the textbook. Ate lunch about thirty minutes before my next and last class.

I was gonna try again to catch the 1 o'clock train at BdB. I was gonna walk as fast as I could as soon as class ended. I wasn't gonna bother bringing my books to my locker. I was just gonna bring them home with me since I had to do that reading report anyways. Just cause I needed to get somewhere fast, the 171 bus took forever to get to Ste. Croix. Anywho, about halfway to the train station, I hear this old lady from the other side of the bus talking loudly in French. At first, I thought she was talking to someone near her. No, I was wrong. She was trying to say something to the bus driver. I don't think she knew he couldn't hear him with all those people in the bus. She was complaining about that she had told him she wanted to get off and he didn't stop and let her off. Something like that. At the next stop, the bus driver was alerted to this old lady and after they "talked" for awhile, the old lady made it off the bus. Since she had a walker, everyone had to part like the red sea to let her through. She was a tad rude to people who she thought was in her way. The whole way to the exit, she kept mumbling how she had told the driver to let her off. As soon as she was gone, most people on the bus couldn't help but laughing.

Anyways, by the time I got to the stop for the train station, I knew it was too late since it was about 5 minutes past the time the train was supposed to arrive. So, I stayed on the bus till the Henri-Bourassa metro station. I then took the metro to Montmorency. Right before the stop for Montmorency, the metro stopped in the tunnel and the intercom came on saying this was the last stop. Then, it sounded like the doors were going to open. But we were in the tunnel not moving! About 2 minutes later, the metro began moving. The platform came into view so people got up and got to the exits. It was still moving slowly so most people weren't holding on to anything when BAM! The metro stopped suddenly and everyone, including me, went flying. Ya, fun fun! XD

After the doors finally opened and let us out, I went up and found the platform where I was gonna take the 9 bus to the Ste. Therese train station. About 5 or 10 minutes later, the bus arrived and I got on. For the next 10 minutes, the bus filled up until it was like full capacity. Thankfully, I grabbed a seat. :D We then left Montmorency and went on the highway, heading to Ste. Therese. About 15 minutes later, I got off and then quickly found the 22 bus which would take me right to my street. Surprised my dad when I arrived home. He was supposed to take the train home and he would pick me up at 3:30. The way I took, saved an hour. I was home around 2:30. :D

I had lots of fun on public transport today! Ya.

Doug, I saw the pics you sent! Man, I miss it when you pissed off my mom. Funny, funny. I also greatly enjoyed the video you sent! Tiffy's room looks so different with that tv/desk thing. And I didn't get to see my sis... :(  (Except for that very short glimpse!) Oh, I also found my mom's reaction hilarious. I was laughing out loud as I was watching. Oh, and about that guy reading Harry Potter.. it only lasted for a second! Why so short?? Why didn't you tape it all??? Hope you had fun that night! ;)

Sooo, I went to bed last night by 9:30. Yup, I was tired. But before I went to bed, I had a nice little time... with a spider. I was on my computer, doing a couple last things before I shut it down, when, from the corner of my eye, I saw something moving on the floor. I look down and since I didn't have my glasses on, I just thought it was an ant. I get up and bend down to look at it. That's when I realise it's no ant but a HUGE spider with HUGE legs. I am not joking when this thing is almost as big as my hand if it's legs were outstretched. It's the largest spider I have ever seen... excluding those bigs ones in zoos. Ya, I practically panicked. My dad was already in bed so he wouldn't be no help. The spider slowly made its way underneath my bed. There was no way in hell that I would be able to fall asleep knowing a spider that size was underneath me. Only one thing I could do: kill it by myself. So, I run downstairs and grab one of my dad's shoes. I run back up to my room. I stand in the middle of the room, wondering where the spider was. I get my camera out cause I wanted to take a picture of it before I killed it. That's when I see it climbing my wall, right beside my bed. Eww. I took some pics and then put my camera on my desk. I get the shoe ready and slowly approach the wall. I didn't want to do it but I slammed the shoe against the wall. Down falls the spider. The spider is crumpled on the floor, its legs twitching. I grab a Kleenex and lay it on the floor. I then push the spider onto it with the shoe. I ended up using three Kleenexs and slowly and carefully bring it to the bathroom. I lowered it down into the toilet and flush. Yuck. Here are the pictures:

Anyways, every Saturday on CJAD, the travel show is on from 11-12. My dad told me that every week, they gave away a trip for free. You either had to send an email on the site with a question about the destination or call in and ask a question. Then, the radio station randomly calls someone that either phoned in or if their emailed question was answered. To win, you can't say 'hello' or 'hi' but instead a 4-line phrase they say on the radio station. Last week, it was a trip to Ottawa and I had tried calling in. I got through but the guy said it was too late and that I can try again next week. Oh well. Anyways, this week was a trip to Italy. So, I write down the phrase (it took me a couple of times of them repeating for me to get the whole thing since they say it so darn fast). So, I try to start calling in. Thank goodness for the redial button. So, at a quarter to 12, I finally got through! The lady asks for my name and number. She then wants to know my question. I tell her. She replied that someone coming up is gonna ask that question so I tell her another one I had in mind. She put me on hold. In the background, you can hear what's being said on the radio. So, I wait, and wait. About 5 minutes go by. The lady comes back on and says sorry but there wasn't going to be enough time for me to ask my question. She did say I was still eligible for winning the prize, which was great. Unfortunately, I wasn't called! Some lady that took forever to answer the phone won. Oh well, she was super excited. Who wouldn't be? An 8 day stay in Italy?

Doug: Thanks for all those pics you sent! It seems you all enjoyed yourselves! Oh, the video you sent definitely brightened my day. Thanks. Not.

Laura: I didn't even think about buying my books! *slaps head* Oh well. I guess I'll have to do it this week. Gah. Silly Lindsay. And I'm glad my bloody toe didn't disgust you! Lol. I guess working in the shoe department WOULD have that effect on you!

P.S. Only one day left of vacation! I don't think I'm ready to wake up so early on Monday: 5:30am!

4 days left..

  • Aug. 22nd, 2007 at 10:25 PM
School is getting closer... Anywho, thanks Laura for telling me last night about the textbooks! I looked at it in more detail today. Wow, they can be expensive. Here's everything I need to get:

Geography:
Geographer's View Of The World - $9.45
Canadian Oxford World Atlas - $24.95

History:
Western Civilization: Brief Discovery Ed. - $86.00

Humanities:
Tying The Knot - TBA

Anthropology:
Intro To Anthropology - $18.90
Anthropology: Custom Text - $55.00

Economics:
Economics Today: The Macro View - $86.00

French:
Lire Et Relire I  - $30.35

English:
Scarlet Letter - $5.99 (I've already read that book two years ago for English class...)
Sir Gawain & The Green Knight - $17.00
Bare Essentials Form B - $51.60
Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn - $6.95

Let's see, how much does that total... *calculates* .... holy crap.. $392.19! And that's not counting the Humanities book which doesn't have price listed. It will be over $400. Wow. Expensive textbooks.

Oh, and I also decided that I would go to Vanier this Friday to get my locker. I'm also gonna see how long it takes from the Rosemere train station till I get to Vanier. See, my first class on Monday is at 8 and there's a train that leaves Rosemere at 7:24 but I don't think I'll make it to school on time. And the train that leaves before 7:24 is at 6:39 *dies*. I guess it's a good thing I only have 2 classes that start at 8: Monday and Thursday. The other days I'm sure I can take the 7:24 train. I think on Friday, I'll take the metro from Cote-Vertu to De La Concorde and then the train back to Rosemere and see how long that takes. Also, I've emailed the director general of the school cause I need a principal's signature and the school stamp so I can apply for a TRAM card. I just have to wait to see if he'll be there this Friday.

Doug, I went to the work today. I talked to Carmella for awhile. She looks different from the last time I saw her. But, that has been quiet a few years. Anywho, she asked me if I was working and I told her no and that my mom is pushing for me to get a job. She told me she knew someone at Christine's (a store in Place Rosemere) and that they needed someone to work there. She then wrote down her number. She suggested I call and see if I can get the job there. Will do. Have to make a CV first of course! XD Oh, and Doug, thanks for your little gift! I will try one tomorrow I think. :D I noticed it was a Kellogg's product. Tony the Tiger! Lol. Hehehe.

[EDIT] I just spent the last half hour adding tags to each entry. Don't ask.

Five days left...

  • Aug. 21st, 2007 at 11:15 PM
So, five days left till school starts! Can't believe it. Summer seemed to fly by. Laura, yup, I have the same cell number. I'll be getting a new cell in a couple of months but I'll tell you the new number when I get it. And no, I don't have a textbook list either. Interesting... And yes, we should definitely hang out on our breaks on Monday! That would be awesome! :D Oh, before I forget, remember when we were on the way to watching the Harry Potter movie? You mentioned you had something that would help with making CV's. Do you think you can send it to me? I have to create my CV and have no clue on what to do. I only know how to make American resumes. Which won't help me in Quebec. *sigh*

And Doug, thanks for that pic you sent me. I couldn't help but laughing at it. Where did Jo Ann find them?? And did my mom see them? Lol. Funny, funny. Oh, and I should be getting my stuff tomorrow at work. My dad has the day off.

Not much else to say. Oh, America's Got Talent finale was on tonight. I watched it. The guy I wanted to win won. Yay! Oh, Doug, I saw a preview for the new season of Deal or No Deal! They mention in the commercial that the banker is still on vacation so the temporary banker is.. Donald Trump! Ya. It was funny. It starts Monday 17th. Hope I don't forget... I love Howie Mandel. He's Canadian! XD

Schedule

  • Aug. 19th, 2007 at 10:52 PM
Well, tomorrow, I'm registering for my classes! My phone times are:

August 20th 4:45 - 5:15
August 20th 9:00 - 9:30
August 21st 10:00 - 4:00
August 22nd 10:00 - 4:00

Like two days ago, I spent the day trying to come up with a schedule. I had printed out a blank timetable on a paper. I had to keep erasing things so I decided to do it on my computer instead. I opened up Paint and copied the image of the blank timetable in Paint and began just color-coding things inside the boxes. Like this:

I worked on my schedule some more today. I actually started a new one since half of the ones I chose two days ago, there were no available palces left in the classes. So, that's the one I completed like 2 hours ago. I'm content with it. But, before I go to bed, I'm gonna check one more time for availability for all of them. And then, I'll check more frequently tomorrow since I'm registering tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, I'll get all the classes I want and be finished within the first session. I shall post an entry tomorrow and how it went!

I think that's all for now. Oh, before I forget, thanks for all those pics Doug. Hey, who were all those people with Tiffy in the car? I didn't recognize anyone.. 'cept Tiffy. Oh, and I greatly appreciated the little video you sent today about the warm weather still in SWF. Thanks. A lot. :P

~Lindsay

P.S. I finally changed my user pic! See? See? Yup, I thought it was time. Took the pics tonight. Hedwig sadly had to go...

Short updates entry

  • Aug. 15th, 2007 at 11:54 PM
Thanks for all those pics you sent, Doug. Keep 'em coming! Oh, when the table thing comes for my mom's tv in the living room, could you take a pic of that? I'd ask my mom but she probably wouldn't do it until the next day or something. Lol. Hope you had a great time at the restaurant tonight with the master chef! XD So, Justin arrived safely home? Who went and welcomed him home? Just you and Jo Ann or did everyone go?

Well, I got the date for my Vanier registration phone call. It's on August 20. So, I was trying to figure out my schedule the other day. I also got my French placement results (finally!) so it will make it easier now to figure out the schedule. I'll work on it some more tomorrow maybe.

Oh, I may also have finally found what to write about for this NaNoWriMo. I'm not entirely sure with the idea but it's the best I've come up with so far. Yesterday, I spent the whole afternoon and evening researching the setting. I still have no clue on characters or an actual story. All I have is the setting. Have to figure out the rest...

Hmmm... I think that's all the updates I have so far...

Trains, buses, and metros, oh my!

  • Aug. 6th, 2007 at 11:11 PM
Well, my dad and I went to the train station today in Rosemere so we can see what the times were. When we got there, they had this plaque thing hanging on the wall with times and destinations. But, we didn't know which one I was supposed to get off at. So, when we got back home, I went online to see if I can find out more. I spent about an hour trying to find a way to get to Vanier using a train and then the metro or a bus. Then, my mom came online (MSN), she asked me what I was up to and I told her I was trying to find a way to get to Vanier. I was still browsing the STM website when I saw something! There was this "travel planner" on the home page! All I had to do was input my origin and destination and it took care of the rest! O_O I wish I found that earlier. Anywho, I found a way to get to Vanier:

Bus from the end of my street to the Rosemere train station
Train to Vendome train station
17 Decarie bus to Station Du College
117 O'Brien bus to Sainte Croix/Decelles
Walk across the street to Vanier

If I take that way, it will take about 100 minutes! I'd have to leave the house around 7am just to get to Vanier by 9:45! Early morning... *sigh* I still have to figure out a way back. I'll do that tomorrow! I'll have to call Vanier tomorrow and ask though how long the meeting will last so I know around what time I'll be leaving to catch the buses and train.

Later, I was talking to Kelly online. I told her what I found and she told me that was a weird way of getting to Vanier. She knew of another way to get there. Instead of going to Vendome, I would take the train to Bois de Boulogne and then take 171 bus to St. Croix. Hmm.. I will check tomorrow online about that. I also found out that the place that takes pics for the ID card is closed on Fridays so I won't be able to do it after the prep meeting. But, Kelly told me she might be able to go with me sometime in the future and we can get our pics done together! XD Awesome.

Doug, I'm glad you enjoyed the game I sent you! XD No, my dad didn't buy me a bike. I have a perfectly good one done in Naples... maybe you can just bring it up with you in September/October or whenever you come back to Quebec. :D Love you. I even have a helmet in my closet down there! Plus, my bike lock is still attached to my bike. I luuuuuv you. XD

Bob's

  • Jul. 23rd, 2007 at 11:28 PM
Not much happened this morning. Got my butt out of bed some time before 10. Mom called. Told me she was still stuck in Georgia and that the garage was looking at her car. Dad came home around 11 for his break. Watched tv. Ate lunch. Took a shower. My day started to pick up when I got to Bob's (restaurant). Everyone was there! Doug, Jo Ann, Justin, Chris, Amy, Sarah, Jo Ann's parents, Doug's parents, Laura, Nick, Shawn, cute little Stefanie... think that's it...lol. Had an awesome time!! It was nice seeing everyone again! Enjoyed eating with ya, Doug. ;) After about 2 hours, finally said goodbye to Doug and family. They were leaving for their way back to Florida! Hope you have a safe trip! Don't break down like my mom! Hehehe...

Anywho, I'm gonna keep this a short entry... unlike my last one.. I couldn't stop thinking about Harry Potter last night. I tossed and turned in bed... I just couldn't stop thinking about it.. especially these 2 deaths at the end. I also decided last night, I was gonna make a HP wallpaper with all those that died in the books. Yup. I'm crazy. I don't think I've ever made wallpaper before.... Hmmm... it shall be interesting nonetheless. I've already got all the pics I need. Except for one cause this person only makes an appearance in the sixth book and since the sixth movie isn't out yet, I have no pics of this person! Oh well... I also have to figure out what program I'm gonna use to put this all together. I think my dad has Photoshop. I shall ask tomorrow...

~Lindsay

P.S. Hope you're finished soon, Laura! I'm dying to discuss the book with someone! XD

Missing the shrimp...

  • Jul. 4th, 2007 at 11:37 PM
So, Doug, I checked out the pics you sent me. Yum, the shrimp looks sooooo good!! XD Maybe, you can go to Fujiyama's next Wednesday, bring some shrimp all the way to Canada pour moi! :D:D:D:D I wuv you!!! Anywho, Doug, thnx for the pics! And I hope you have fun on your little trip to Orlando! I wish I could have gone again with you guys! I always enjoy going.. plus, I could have used my pass once more before it expired! Tell me all about it when you get back on Sunday. ;)

So, I got up at 10ish. Read some HP4. Dad got home. After he left, I watched some tv, ate lunch. I put away blankets on top of my toy box, plus some pillows on the couch downstairs into one of the empty boxes. They were pillows and blankets from Tiff's bed and we no longer needed them. So, I brought them downstairs in the basement. I also brought down the remaining empty boxes to the basement. Hmm... oh yes, read some more HP4. I'll probably be done the book in two days or so. Then I'll watch the movie! XD Not very exciting day today. Just another regular day. Yuppers. Alright, off I go now to.. guess what? Read more HP4!! My life has been taken over by Harry Potter!!! XD And I like it that way! XD

~Lindsay

P.S. Happy July 4th! Doug, do anything special on the American holiday? I only remembered it was the 4th of July like this afternoon!

Wake up call and Harry Potter premiere

  • Jul. 3rd, 2007 at 11:17 PM
(I'm writing this as I'm talking to you, Doug, on the phone.. at 11:15pm..)

So, I was sleeping in this morning... and suddenly, ding dong! I jumped up and ran down the stairs to the door. I knew right away that it was Purolator. My dad had ordered a case for his palm pilot from the Palm store. I had to sign my name on some electronic gadget thing. Holy crap, my signature was like some kind of scribble that a 5 year old did. Anywho, it was a quarter to 10 so I didn't go back to sleep. Instead, I read some more HP4. At 11, I went downstairs and watched some tv and ate lunch.

At exactly 12, my computer was on and I was sitting in front of it. I had read a couple of days ago that the London premiere for the 5th HP movie would be broadcast live online at 12 (5pm London time). So, for the next 2 hours, I watched it! Almost all the stars were there... Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, the guy that plays Neville Longbottom (he's so tall!), Robbie Coltrane, Fiona Shaw, Richard Griffiths, guy that plays Moody, guy that plays Kingsley Shacklebolt (I had totally forgot about that character!), James and Oliver Phelps (I actually only heard them.. the video paused for quite some time on the guy that plays Filch), Bonnie Wright (she's sooo pretty), Katie Leung, Evanna Lynch, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton (my Draco!!), guy that plays Seamus Finnigan, short little Flitwick!, woman that plays Bellatrix..... and.... J.K. Rowling was there!! XD So, I basically just listed almost every single character in the movie.. lol. Ya. It was exciting. And I'm like uber excited now to watch the darn movie! I wish I could have been at the premiere, standing behind the bars, getting autographs! Perhaps the next one... or the last one... Maybe I'll take a trip to London when the last movie comes out... hehehehehe.... *cough*

Anyways, after those eventful two hours, I read some more HP4. I then vacuumed the floor downstairs. Read some more HP4 when my dad came home. We were gonna have meatloaf for supper but my dad changed his mind and we ordered pizza instead. We then went out to get ice cream afterwards (we had run out of my dear, sweet, delicious, chocolate ice cream!). When we got back, we watched Canadian Idol. After that, I watched Law and Order (SVU) as my dad went to take a shower. He kissed me goodnight after and went to bed (he has to work at 6am tomorrow). After the show was over, I turned it off and went up to my room. I then heard my phone ring. The caller ID said it was an 'unknown caller' so I didn't answer it. I listened to the voice mail and lo and behold, it was Doug! So I chatted with him for like 15 minutes as I started this entry! And now I'm done! XD

Off to bed now.. well, first to read some more HP4. Ya, my life has been taken over by Harry Potter. XD

~Lindsay

P.S. Looking forward to those pics, Doug, of Fujiyama's! :D

More albums!

  • Jul. 1st, 2007 at 12:09 AM

I just added some more albums: Homecoming 2006, Prom 2007, NaNoWriMo (sub-albums including both Heirs of Atlantis and Innocence and Desire). Gonna add my New York trip photos tomorrow! :D Up to 320 images now! *is giddy*

Anywho, last night, I read more HP3. Then I played games on my palmpilot. I started playing minesweeper and finished playing at 2am. Ya. So, I slept in till 12 today. I was tired. Ate lunch while watching tv. Got dressed. Then my dad and I went to Carrefour Laval. Went back home. I went on my computer. Went out for supper at Belle Province (yummy! 2 hot dogs! XD). Got home. Watched some more tv. Then I began adding the albums to my photo gallery. Read HP3 while pics uploaded. I still have about 40 pages left to read and it's already 12:15. Hmm, perhaps I'll finish reading the book tonight...

Doug: I am planning on getting out of my Hobbit Hole soon. I'm planning on going to see the 5th HP movie with my buddies! XD I am planning on getting a job, but not in the *near* future. Maybe at the end of July or something. No, we didn't make it to the train station. I'm gonna have a "dry run" on August 10 when I have college prep day at Vanier at 9:45am. I shall be picking my courses in August with the other new students. No, I haven't driven anywhere since I moved down. My dad hasn't added me yet to his insurance plan for the car. Hopefully, I won't forget any "skills"! Loved your little joke about the full moon and my mom. Lol. Yes, Canada Day tomorrow! XD I shall wear a Canadian shirt and wave my little flag around proudly. XD And I'll try to visit Sarah some time this week! Do you know EXACTLY when she works? XD

~Lindsay

Just another Tuesday...

  • Jun. 26th, 2007 at 11:39 PM
Doug: I'll give you a present for your anniversary in 31 more years! ... I'll be exactly my mom's age then! Scary!!! XD And no, I don't miss my mom's cooking.. I never really liked it! Hey, did you happen to see last Thursday if the car was gone? And keep an eye out this Thursday too! And perhaps, you can make your french fry sandwiches when you're up here! You were supposed to make them the last weekend before I moved but I never got them! They were delicious! And it's been months since I've had one! And yes, I would love for you to bring my stuff with you when you come up. Who knows when (or if?) my mom will come up! XD

Anywho, like the title says, it's just another Tuesday. Got up at 10:30... I read another chapter in HP2, watched tv, ate lunch. Afterwards, I read more HP2 and finished the book just as my dad came home for his lunch break. Not a very exciting afternoon. I'm gonna watch the second HP movie tomorrow and then I'll start reading HP3. I'm on a roll! I think it took like 3 days to read HP2. Gotta keep it up, Lindsay! I have to finish the 5th by the time the movie comes out in theaters! And, I keep seeing the preview for the movie on tv and I'm getting so excited! Laura, I'm sure you've seen it? Snape, personally, looks so different to me! Oh, can you send me those pics you have of James? I'm dying to see what he looks like! XD

Off now. It's a quarter to midnight. Me needs sleep. I would like to wake up a bit earlier tomorrow so I can watch HP2 (but I'm sure I'll sleep in till 10 again!). Night everyone!

~Lindsay

P.S. Sarah, you still alive?? Haven't heard from you in awhile!!

House to myself day 2

  • Jun. 19th, 2007 at 9:43 PM
Well, I had the house to myself again! Got up at 10, watched a show I had taped yesterday, watched another show, put away the dishes from the dishwasher, ate lunch (had smoked meat for the first time in a looong time!), finished a show. Then I took a shower, read more Harry Potter, then went on my computer. Read some more. Dad got home and we went out to M&M's to get these 5" pizzas I used to eat. We then headed over to Metro to get a few items. Headed back home. Not a very exciting day overall. Tomorrow, I'm gonna try unpacking another box. Perhaps. Ya, big procrastinator here. ...

Doug: I hope you had a great time at Watermark Grille! Interesting that my mom didn't go... And it's about time those logs are getting cleared! They were supposed to be gone like at the start of the month! Who's the procrastinator now? Woah, why did my mom throw out my shelfy thing?? It was perfect where it was!! And why in the world did she get a new shower curtain?? What was wrong with mine?? It matched the whole bathroom!! What did she do with my trashcan/soap dispenser/tooth brush holder?? It was a set!! I'll have to talk to her...!

Placement tests

  • Jun. 16th, 2007 at 6:09 PM
Well, the placement tests weren't THAT hard. I got at Vanier about 30 minutes before the test started so I just sat on a bench. As I was watching videos on my iPod, I saw Sean T. walking down the hallway holding the tests (he was setting them up). He looked astonished to see me:

Sean: Lindsay, what are you doing here?
Me: I'm going to Vanier!
Sean: That's awesome.
Me: Ya, not looking forward to the placement tests though.
Sean: Don't worry, it's not hard.
Me: I hope not. After this I have the french one.
Sean: Well, good luck!
Me: Thanks. Bye.

Ya, that's roughly how it went. Haven't seen him since either June or November. Been awhile! Anywho, for the english test, we had to write on one of three topics, 3-4 pages long, double-spaced. Took me awhile to get started. Couldn't figure out what to write. Then after about an hour, there was the reading section. We simply had to read a text and summarize in one paragraph what the article was about. Then, we had to write one more paragraph on whether we agreed with it or not. I got finished before time was up. It was about 11:30 or something so I decided to get some food. I spotted a Pizza Hut across the street and had a personal pan pizza. Yum. Now comes the good part. After I was done, I decided to go find out where the french placement test was. Online, it said it would be in the D building, 5th floor. So, I make my way to the D building. It's completely quiet inside. I go all the way up to the 5th floor. By the time I get up there, I'm sweating. No air conditioning inside and it was a hot day and Lindsay has not had that much exercise in awhile. Anywho, so, I start walking down the hallway but it's completely deserted. I started wondering that maybe they had rescheduled the location. So, I make my way back down to the bottom floor and walk around. I just ended up in the cafeteria. I decided to check one more time upstairs. Up Lindsay goes again to the fifth floor. Nothing again. I go back downstairs and outside. Last night, I decided to put Vanier's number into my cell phone, in case something like that happened. I called the number but the reception is closed on weekends. On the automated message though they say to call security if there's an emergency. So, I call them. I ask the guy if he knows where the french placement test is taking place. He said he wasn't sure but possibly the sports complex (which is where I took the english one). I thanked him and jung up. I started walking to the sports complex when I pass a building and I see a little blue sign that says french placement test. I follow the sign inside. The sign points to take the stairwell. And I do. I go all the way to the top, just to find the top floor with all the lights off. I grumble and make my way back down. I noticed that the second floor had lights so I opened the door and walked in. To my left, there were a couple of people standing around and I was relieved. I had finally found it! By that time, I was sweating like a pig. All that exercise! I'm sure I had completely walked off that pizza! About ten minutes go by and this person emerges and announces that anyone who got a letter saying that their exam was in the D building, 5th floor had to continue following the signs. (Apparently, there was another area going to take the test at the ampitheater which was where I was). So, I followed a bunch of people heading to the D building. I finally made it to the correct location this time (I had passed it by earlier but I guess I was early so no one was there). I took a seat. I won't talk of the french test. The first section was just basic information about yourself and then we had to listen to this tape and answer questions. The next section was grammar. Most of it was on verb conjugation and I was half-lost. I've forgotten all about how to conjugate verbs! *sigh* Next section was reading a page and then answering some questions. And finally, the part I was not looking forward to: the writing. There were three topics and we had to choose one and write our opinion. I really didn't understand the last two so I chose the first one. I'm not too sure I did too well on that part. As soon as I finished, I called up my dad to come pick me up. After like 30 minutes sitting in the sun, he arrived and we made our way back home. With one pitstop on the way: Uniprix to pick up some items (including the meds my mom needs mailed down to her). And after eating a snack, here I am, typing this! What a long day it's been! Got up at 8... ugh... I'm sleeping in tomorrow... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Laura: I'm not sure if you know, but you can pre-order at Chapters and save some money, which is what I'll probably end up doing. And yes, I shall be seeing you at Andrea's surprise party!

Doug: I'm glad the flood has finally left, although, I never got to see it! Hope you have fun at Shula's. Don't drink as much as you did on your birthday! Lol. No tiger this week? Hmm. You better keep a close eye on Thursdays now that I'm not there! And what did I read, you were going to Disney?? And not bring back any fudge for Lindsay!! :O I am shocked! When you come up and visit, I expect you to have some chocolate fudge and/or mint fudge for me. Remember, I did give you that piece of MY fudge... remember that!! And you ate my Hershey kisses?? Excuse me?? You bought those for me!! You better not have touched them!!! Grrr...
